Life Saving Equipment

Protective Equipment including personal protective equipment shall be used to protect the eyes, face, head, and other extremities. Protective barriers shall be used and maintained in reliable and sanitary condition. These measures shall be put in place when there is reason to believe that injury or impairment may be caused by inhalation absorption or physical contact

Eye and face protection eye and face protection shall be used to protect against flying debris gasses or vapors and shall be distinctly marked to facilitate identification of manufacturer.

Head protection head protection shall be worn when it is reason to believe that injury could result from falling objects.

Foot protection safety toe shoes shall meet all Z41.1-1967 standards.

Hearing protection should worn in accordance with table D-2, 1926.52 permissible exposure levels.

Respiratory protection respiratory protection shall be worn as prescribed for work done by a competent person.

Safety harnesses safety harnesses shall be worn for highs greater than 6 feet and inspected by competent person before each use safety harnesses and lanyard should be attached to an overhead anchor capable of supporting 5400 LBS dead weight .
