The Beauty My Eyes Behold

I awakened early Saturday morning and began to write I use You tube to post Video, Facebook to talk to my friends some are on the other side of the world and I started to think what if these companies did not exist it is because of Democracy they exist they provide free services most of us take for granted what if there are other civilizations that share these same values?

Have you ever wondered what it would be like if we did not have the freedoms we have today; the freedom to choose any career we wanted, just think of what it would be like if you were told what occupation you had to do, would there be any Google, Amazon, Facebook, what would it be like if the government told journalist what they could write or put on the internet or send over the air waves? Walk with me for a moment into a world quite different from our own.

In 2022 the Russian government shut down independent media only government sponsored radio stations were allowed to broadcast what they were told by the government. What if there were no democratic nations where citizens could elect government officials to lead them. This world would be much different we sometimes take our democracy for granted, but it is the very reason we have the freedoms we have today.

The tragic invasion of Ukraine is a reminder of why we fight for our nation a nation of the people, for the people, the privileges some our ancestors paid for with their lives. It is the precious gift of democracy we hold sacred. History tells us of many struggles of our nation from its founding until the present day, but one thing remains the same amongst its people, democracy is worth fighting for.

From the days of early America to this very moment we have learned it is the things that are precious in life that propels us forward in the face of insurmountable odds, just look at the people of Ukraine fighting a global power for their sovereignty and freedom. They are fighting for the right to join any organization they choose. The United States has been a shining beacon of democracy for so many years that have compelled other nations to join the fight for democracy.

It is a legacy all Americans share and stands at the heart of our culture so many Americans and people around the globe have paid the ultimate price for the right to be free. What do I mean by the beauty my eyes behold it is being able to sit in my living room and write about whatever I want without the fear of government intervention or being killed for my comments, this is beautiful I am not told what I must be in life it is my choice?

Many other nations don`t have this freedom, citizens are told from their birth what they must be where they must work. I go to work because it is the job, I chose not the job someone chose for me. We must always fight for our freedom and stay ever watchful for those trying to destroy our democratic nation. Our country must be strengthened from the inside out and from the outside in.

The beauty my eyes behold is about where my ancestors were to where we are today. I use Amazon to get my products and Facebook to advertise and let us not forget Google I have a YouTube channel for multimedia my web site contains a story my story that I can tell my way without thinking of the repercussions that may cause me this is what democracy is about.

What greater nation on earth to show this than the United States when I say the beauty my eyes behold this is truly a beautiful thing when I can go wherever I want, do whatever want, and see whatever want. Our veterans are those who have fought tirelessly for our freedom.

Throughout the history of the United States one thing, we have done well we have preserved our democracy and that democracy for the world it has allowed companies to be formed and grow providing services vital to society some for free these companies may not exist now if it were not for democracy and the right to free enterprise.
